PSAT / SAT / ACT Information

PSAT

Attention Sophomores and Juniors - This year's PSAT administration will be held on October 26, 2024 at PHS.  In order to take the test, please use this Google Form to register (linked here).  Payment in the form of a check or money order made out to Phillipsburg High School in the amount of $18 must be placed in a sealed envelope with the student's name and PSAT on it.  This is to ensure payment is linked with the students registration. Payment can be brought into Mr. Beahn in the guidance office or dropped off in the drop box just outside the community entrance.  Deadline to register and provide payment is September 20, 2024.

SAT

The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil and paper test created and administered by the College Board. We encourage all college bound students to take the SAT at least two times during the spring of their junior year or over the summer leading into their senior year. Students can take an SAT Prep Course hosted at PHS prior to the test dates. Information on registering for the course can be obtained in the Guidance office and will be posted on this page when available.

For more information or to register for the SAT, students should visit the following website: www.sat.org/register. Listed below are the upcoming dates that Phillipsburg High School will be hosting the SATs.

We encourage all college bound students to take the SAT and/or ACT during the spring of their junior year or fall of their senior year.
