Phillipsburg High School World Languages Department

The World Languages Department at Phillipsburg High School promotes linguistic and cultural literacy while fostering a life-long appreciation for world languages and cultures. The department believes that each student can learn and benefit from acquiring a new language in order to develop a global mindset which is crucial in today’s society.  The World Language Department offers courses in French and Spanish. These languages stress the four communicative skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
