Phillipsburg High School Mathematics Department

The Phillipsburg High School mathematics department is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about teaching mathematics and committed to developing outstanding mathematics students who are able to cultivate their critical thinking skills throughout their program of study.  Teachers collaborate in designing lessons that ask students to reason and model with mathematics and to use mathematics to make connections to their own lives.  The mathematics curriculum is designed to support yet challenge students and the course sequence offers all students the ability to reach their fullest potential in preparing for college and careers.  A Phillipsburg graduate will be able to effectively analyze, interpret and communicate mathematics and have the ability to persevere through problem-solving.
